Smoothie of the Week!

As we move into the warmer days and hot breakfasts wane, having an easy go to breakfast smoothie can power you up and get you through those busy mornings!

This one is a favourite!

Ingredients:

  • 1 banana
  • 1 apple
  • 3 inch piece of cucumber
  • 1 inch piece of ginger, peeled
  • 2 handfuls of spinach
  • 2 tbsp hemp hearts
  • 1 tbsp flax oil
  • 2 tsp chia seeds
  • 1-2 medjool dates (optional)
  • 2 cups water

Directions:

  • Blend all ingredients together until smooth. Add more or less water to reach desired consistency. Makes two large smoothies! You’re welcome. 😉
