Third Party Reimbursement for Naturopathic Care

Naturopathic Medicine is not covered by OHIP, it is fee for service similar to dental, chiropractic and registered massage therapy fees. However many people will have Naturopathic Medicine coverage included in their extended health care benefits through their employer. Please check with your employer to determine if you have coverage for Naturopathic Medical care.

All doctors at Barefoot Health are licensed and registered as Naturopathic Doctors under the Drugless Practioners Act in Ontario. We will issue you a receipt at the time of your visit for you to use to claim back to your insurance company. We appreciate payment at the time of service.

We are set up for Direct Billing with most insurance companies. Please bring your insurance account information with you and we will check for direct billing availability.

Barefoot Health is an approved Blue Cross Health Care Provider.

Payment for Services

We are happy to accept debit/INTERAC, VISA and Mastercard payments for our services. We also happily accept cheques or cash.

Important note about Laboratory and Dispensary Services

We have a variety of LAB services available. All laboratory services/bloodwork fees, supplements or remedies are billed individually and separately from Naturopathic Services.
