Day 1 – Sit Spot

A Sit Spot is a quiet spot, preferably somewhere in nature but it can just be somewhere quiet. Set a timer for 15 minutes.  Get comfortable.  You can close your eyes or keep them open.  The idea is to simply sit in silence for 15 minutes.  No prayer or mantra, just silence.  Try to quiet your mind so you don’t have a constant inner dialogue.  Focus on your breath.   15 minutes of silence is a gift you give yourself today.
