Gluten Free Brownies

Who says our Recipe of the Week has to be a main meal? Well, actually that is exactly the way we were leaning before a client of ours gave us a shake and reminded us that life needs a little sweetness sometimes! These brownies do the trick.

This recipe comes to us from the always awesome Ivana Chapman; a personal trainer with a serious sweet tooth! Tried and tested on kids too, there will be no leftovers…..

Here’s what you need:

  • 1/2 cup of organic coconut flour
  • 1/2 cup organic cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup organic butter melted
  • 3 whole organic eggs
  • 1/2 cup of honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract, optional
  • 50g of 70% Organic Dark Chocolate (or organic chocolate chips) broken into pieces
  • Organic Coconut chips (As much as you need for the topping)

1. Preheat oven to 350 F.
2. Mix liquids first then add dry ingredients.
3. Place in a glass baking dish (8×8 inches) and line with coconut oil.
4. Bake for 20-25 minutes.
