Acidic or Alkaline Diet? Why Does it Matter?
The buzz phrases “pH diet” or “alkaline diet” may be familiar to you due to the large amount of literature written about it. Like most “fad diets”, there is quite a bit of controversy about whether or not acidity is relevant to our well being and if the alkaline diet actually benefits health. Interestingly, more recent scientific research shows that diet-induced acidosis is a real phenomenon and is clinically relevant due to the long and term consequences such as pain, diabetes, osteoporosis, poor fitness & difficulty losing weight, cancer, etc… Please join us if you would like to know more about what acidosis exactly is, how diet affects acidity, how it may affect our health and how to treat & prevent acidosis.
